NASHVILLE, Tenn., Sept. 8 -- The final nominees for "The
42nd Annual CMA Awards" will be proclaimed on Country Music's biggest
morning, Wednesday, Sept. 10. A Video News Release (VNR) featuring the
announcements, artist soundbytes, and music video clips from nominated
artists testament be released via satellite that good afternoon at 2:00 PM/ET.
Country superstars Rascal Flatts and Taylor Swift will announce the
final nominees in blue-ribbon categories live from New York City on ABC's "Good
Morning America" during the 8:30 AM (all time zones) half-hour segment.
Then, Country newcomers Lady Antebellum and James Otto will unveil the
nominees for the remaining categories on a special edition of CMT's "CMT
Insider," ventilation live from Nashville at 10:00 AM/ET.
The announcement of the final nominees leads up to "Country Music's
Biggest Night(TM)." "The 42nd Annual CMA Awards" airs live Wednesday, Nov.
12 (8:00-11:00 PM/EST) from the Sommet Center in Nashville on the ABC
Television Network.
