'Coronation Street' star Bill Tarmey is reportedly considering leaving the show next year.
According to the News of the World, the actor, who plays Jack Duckworth in the soap, is eager to stay on for another year before retiring, taking him to 30 years on 'Coronation Street'.
A source told the newspaper: "He wants to get to three decades in 'Corrie', which is a huge achievement."
"Bill's not getting any younger and wants to enjoy retirement. He's got a place in Tenerife and is looking forward to being out there."
Actress Liz Dawn, who played Jack Duckworth's wife Vera, recently left the show because of health issues.
